update Ubuntu, now camera does not show images?

I am using Zoneminder 1.22.3 and Ubuntu (Hardy). I recently updated packages, and now the ZM does not work right. It does not get any images from the camera, when before it was getting 2 FPS at 640x480 jpg. The camera is an Airlink101 AIC250. I can get an image from Firefox, but ZM does not get an image and all that ZM has is a broken icon.

What message appear in /var/log/syslog ?

What are the permissions on /dev/video* ?

Check all the changes you did on install. The upgrade may have "undone" them. They are listed in the Wiki as a reminder.
