Popup if window goes into alarm

Post by captain_morgan »

I was wondering if there was any special stipulation for the setting:

ZM_WEB_POPUP_ON_ALARM Should the monitor window jump to the top if an alarm occurs

The windows will not popup when the camera goes into alarm.

Using firefox.

Any ideas?

It will only popup to the top of the window tree if your browser allows it. I think Firefox generally disables that behaviour.

I installed zm under Debian, and i'm using iceweasel. I have also tried in Windows, using firefox... but no success. I've tried checking the "allow raise or lower window" in the preference, advance javascript menú, I have also tried different settings in the control center panel... and also tried to include the setTimeout statement in the window.focus call...

any suggestion?

Keep the monitor window closed, and use a trigger to open a new instance of the browser with the monitor window, which would automatically end up on top?
