"Video generation failed" trying to view events

Post by cknox »

I installed 1.23.1 on OpenSUSE 10.3. Streaming works and events are being recorded; however, when I try to view them, the viewing window is blank with just the copywrite message about Cambozola. If I try to generate a video in this window, I receive the message: "Video generation failed!" I have rebooted, turned off user authorization, set hash to none in my troubleshooting efforts. Does anyone have an idea what is wrong? Also, frames are blank too. Yet it shows the recording thereof.

Thanks,

ck

Hi,

you may take a look at /var/log/apache/error_log . maybe you find something usefull there.

If I moved the location of where the events and images are stored, would that have caused this (even though I changed the paths back to the defaults)?
