Record only when there is action in a defined zone.

Hello, i would like to only record my movies when a door is open, so i had defined a new zone in my camera called "door zone" and set the camera type to Mocord, but when i move the door it keeps IDLE and does not start to record.
Runing on Ubuntu Server 7.04
How should i proceed ??

What type of zone did you define it as?
Also your thresholds might be to high, try lowering them.

Zone Door
Name: Door
Type: Active
Preset: Fast, medium sensitivy

Try setting it to the 'low sensitivity'.
If the door is far from the camera not enough might be changing in the picture to set off the alarm.

If that's the case then if anything you'd need high sensitivity...

Try using modect for recordings with only motion, mocord just constantly records.
