I am trying to create a filter in which I sort start date/time desc (newest one first).
Whenever I select 'Desc' in the dropdown and press Save, it quickly switches back to 'Asc'
ZoneMinder version v1.36.8 on Gentoo Linux using ebuild www-misc/zoneminder from oubliette repository.
PHP version 8.0.12, using MariaDB 10.5.10 back end and Apache 2.4.51
EDIT: Behaviour not present in v1.37.1

Re: Filter creation - sort order Desc appears not to work
It appears, if I re-load the filter, it does indeed store the order in Desc, but will promptly display Asc, if I save the filter again.
By the way, I am unable to Delete a filter, do I have to delete all events that this filter has interacted with?

No.
We are up to 1.36.10 now. .11 to be released, maybe tomorrow.
Not accepting reports for 1.36.8.
First step when you find a problem is update.

That sounded a bit dickish, I appreciate your testing and quality reports.
But I do need you to update so that you aren't reporting old stuff.
I'm doing my best to fix things as quick as possible.

Re: Filter creation - sort order Desc appears not to work
I will see how I go, as I am a Gentoo user and reliant on whoever makes the ebuild to update.
I may look into copying the ebuild into my local repository and updating it for new releases, so long as the build/install process doesn't change, I should be right.
I appreciate your promptness and I apologise for my 'enthusiasm' on an older version.
In general, things seem to be working well, as I continue to tweak.
edit: I found a '9999' ebuild, which puts me at 1.37.1 now.
Bleeding edge, here I come.
