Last 1.35.28 upgrade using Mocord on single camera test machine
No changes made

It would probably be useful to know what your camera settings are/were...

Which camera settings ? Settings have not changed over a year

I can view live view from the console.
I can view events from say 4-13-2021 although the name-date-time overlay is flickering which it never did before but the video is smooth.

I should have mentioned in the release notes, some hwaccel codecs just crash instead of handling failure to initialize well. Set your encoding codec specifically to libx264 so that it doesn't automatically try hwaccel codecs. Also maybe specify h264 instead of h265. Unless you want h265.

Also each codec has different options and don't like handling ones they don't support, typically with a crash.

Set libx264 & h264 is playback now working, timestamp still irregularly flashes still. Motion now detecting with alarm frames also
Its and old Panasonic bl-c131a 640x480 on this test box , time to replace it
