Possible problem in 1.35.27? Montage....

Post by alabamatoy »

I never use montage, but I tried it this AM on my 1.35.27 because of this post and it repeatedly locks the browser (Firefox 88.0.1 64 bit). /dev/SHM in the console is showing 2%-3% before clicking on montage, but when I kill the browser and go back to the console after the montage lockup, /dev/shm is showing like 31%. It settles back to 2% or so shortly. The lockup of the browser is hard, it affects every other open tab.

Montage on my 1.34.26 works fine with same browser, no such issues.

Is anyone else seeing this?

if you have more than 4 cameras and are NOT using multiport, then yeah chrome locks up. Didn't used to but does now. I think it just builds up a huge queue of processes trying to connect to the camera streams.

Could be due to the removal of mootools, perhaps our timeouts are not set the same. Will investigate, however the easy fix is to use multiport.

Wow, changes to ZM config, Apache config, and router config. And I have multiple ZM sites. I guess I got some work to do....
