FYI, upgrade on Debian from 1.34.23

Post by nik282000 »

Just an FYI for anyone who may inattentively sudo apt upgrade their machine, my Zoneminder jumped from 1.34.23 up to 1.36.11 and got pretty mangled. The backend seems to be working but the UI (and ZMNinja) is pretty hosed.

sudo - with great power comes great responsibility.

I don't see how that could happen. What version of debian?

In order to jump like that you would have to have added the 1.36 repo to apt/sources.list....

I was running 1.34.23 in a Bullseye LXC container. My apt sources shows the 1.36 repo but I haven't edited that since I set it up (that I remember). This seems like a very me-issue, do you mind removing the thread?

Wow, I had a line in my sources.list some time ago long before I upgraded, and that version never changed. Whodathunkit?
