The wiki has a page on managing load that mentions alternate libraries that use MMX instructions but the link to more info is old and doesn't work.
I checked and my cpu has that capability as I suppose most if not all do these days. Is this still something that improves performance or is it "baked in" to ZM these days? I am running an I5 cpu with Xubuntu 20.04.

If this is something useful to do where can I get more info?
Use of MMX instructions?
Re: Use of MMX instructions?
I think that's obsolete. It's probably from a time where 'jpegs' were used for motion recording. Today Zoneminder is using 'ffmpeg' that automatically detects CPU features.
