Recording on the fly?

Post by BobLaske »

While I am watching a monitor/camera, is there a way to start and stop a recording of what I'm seeing? I thought I did that once but cannot find anything about it online or looking at the app.

There should be a force alarm button on the right...

Of course, it's right in my face :).
Maybe it should say 'Force alarm/record'

Thank you for replying, I'll try it out.

Oh, one more question please. After I cancel the alarm, how do I download that video? I don't see it anywhere.

Hi, does anyone know where the saved recordings are? I don't see it in the dashboard.

It should be listed if you click in the Hour column on the console. Or in the live view at the bottom should be a constantly updated list of events.

The first thing you need to do is update to 1.34.

1.33 was a development version. Who knows what works or doesn't work in it.

I agree, I need to update. I've been fearing disruptions from doing that. Maybe there's a way to save the entire config and import it into a replacement server. I'll check it out.

Thanks for the help on the above. I'll take another look.

No, nothing shows up after I run an alarm manually. Maybe I need to upgrade and start from there.
