I don't understand some of the ZoneMinder zone types

The "Preclusive" zone type is pretty obvious and I use it frequently, A couple of the other zone types have me a little baffled. While I think I understand the "Inclusive" and "Exclusive" zone types from a technical point of view, I don't really understand how they would be used. I have read the Wiki descriptions, but they don't really help.
