difference between methods for changing storage of events

installed and running 1 cameras.
when having events stored to a NAS, what is the difference between changing the storage via systemd path (https://zoneminder.readthedocs.io/en/la ... drive.html) and changing option-storage to point at a mounted NAS events folder ? There must be a big difference, and it may be one of the source for me having difficulty to add a second camera. If you do have a pointer to help, would be cool. Chears.
