Hi all,
I am planning to migrate from Blue-Iris to zoneminder. With doing so, i can repurpose my windows box to running Linux & docker. Without going into technical questions as of now (because a lot can be found online) i have a very basic question.
Would it be possible to have a docker image running ZoneMinder (yes) and have ZoneMinder running inside that Docker image write the streams/records to a NAS in thesame wired network?

Yes.
With that said you will, in my opinion, do better to not use docker or a VM.
Best way to mount an external storage is to use systemd. See: https://wiki.zoneminder.com/Common_Issu ... ive_or_NAS
And that NAS should have a "NIX" file system.
