Hello,
After a typical upgrade from repository ppa:iconnor/zoneminder (Ubuntu 16.04.5) to ver. 1.32, Zoneminder stopped working, and i am getting an "Unable to connect to ZM db.could not find driver"!
The upgrading went well, as did the database ,keeping the old zm.conf!
Ubuntu 16.04.5
php version 5.6 (downgraded as other's apps runs on server demand)
mysql Ver 14.14 Distrib 5.7.23, for Linux (x86_64) using EditLine wrapper
what next?

SOLVED !
It was a permission issue on conf.d folder and it's contents !

Not solved for me and I tried permission on the folder. Anyone else have a suggestion?
In the chrome browser I still get:
