Email Alarms not working. Log says 'Broken Pipe'. Where to look?

I haven't tried the manual email push from the terminal yet. This would determine if it's not a Zoneminder problem... but where do I look?

I've had filters break on me, because I forgot to click the checkbox for email results.
Even though it appears checked, it needs to actually be checked again, when editing filters, I think. Broken pipe is not that, though.
