Can't Playback Video from Hour 00

I'm running ZM 1.31.45

I've done a lot of looking but can't find the fix for this... The entire installation is working perfectly fine except for a playback issue.

When I attempt to playback events that are in the hour "00", they won't play. On some browsers it just loads forever. On others, I get a file not found message.

For example, Event 50547 and 50555 have the problem - but the next two work fine. Only the six events that fall in the hour beginning with "00" have the problem. And they have it every single day since we installed.

Does anyone know the likely super simple solution to fix this?

I can't think of any reason for this. Events like this work fine for me.

First step is to update. There have been a lot of fixes since 1.31.45. In fact we have released 1.32.0.

Next is to look at the logs.

I didn't exactly find the fix yet - but I did find the issue.

When I try to review the files, the error log shows it can't find the file. Turns out its looking in the previous days folder.

So for example... 11:59pm is in Sept 12 folder. The next file is after midnight and its rightly in the Sept 13 folder. But, ZM is looking for it in the Sept 12 folder still. It only looks in the next day for ones that start with 1AM or later.

I'm going to update it and see if it went away somewhere among all the other bugs that were fixed over time.

Sounds like a daylight savings time problem or something like that. Weird.

I wonder if your system timezone and the php timezone are the same.
