v1.31.18 web console problems

Post by rockedge » Tue Jan 02, 2018 2:09 pm

quick question for iconner...... how is the 1.31.18 web console supposed to work? are there popout windows for the different monitor views for example? Otherwise it seems to run but I can not get the option Storage-> Add New Storage to even react and the option pages don't seem to form correctly. The CSS seems to be giving me trouble.
Puppy Linux Tahr 6.0.5 (Ubuntu 14.04)
ZM version 1.31.18
dual core 16gigs RAM Dell Poweredge T110 II server 1 Terabyte HDD storage
browsers tested : Firefox, Waterfox, Light, Palemoon, Slimjet, Chrome, Opera

also had some problems importing the ZM sql.

Thanks for any info!

local web cams /dev/video* does not work correctly no matter what settings.....same camera works with 1.31.1 and 1.30.4.

Everything is supposed to be working fine.

Check that /usr/share/zoneminder/www/cache exists and is writable by www-data.

@iconner thank you man!! that did fix it....I totally missed setting up /usr/share/zoneminder/www/cache
the web console is working and parsing the CSS and I can add storage via the Options->Storage controls.

Thanks again.
