Recordings even when camera is off

Dear members,
I have the hikvision camera installed in my office and configured with zoneminder, every works fine but my camera with "Record" function keeps on recording even when camera is off (during night) , so it records hours of recording with blue screen.
Is there is any option that I can set that not to record when camera is off.
