zmeventserver options

i have setup zmeventserver and have a few questions.
1.The repository states that with version 1.30.2 and above the manual config is not needed. i am running 1.30.4 and do not have Options->Systems. Just enable "OPT_USE_EVENTNOTIFICATION" anyone else have this issue, or maybe it is not implemented yet. i have since set it up manually.
2. Push notifications work only when the app is open in the foreground is this by design? I am running android Oreo.

1. The repo says "NOTE : Starting version 1.32.0 " not 1.30.2. That version is not released yet, but its part of master
2. No, it is designed to work when the app is exited or in the background. Chances are your push is not configured properly. Please make sure you follow all the instructions on trouble shooting and post detailed logs so I can help you.

Thanks for the clarification. For some reason notifications started working. All is well.
