Ezcap USB device capture

lsusb shows:
Bus 001 Device 005: ID eb1a:5124 eMPIA Technology, Inc.

I'm setting up Zoneminder for the first time. Have used Motion but I want to record audio as well as video. The camera is actually in a nestbox.

/dev/video1 works OK in Motion but I am getting an error showing for the source in the console. I gave tried both Video For Linux version 1 and 2. But the console still shows an error.

Just to confirm I do not have motion running at the same time Zoneminder,

Any suggestions please?

Sorry, I was expecting something to show up in the log immediately. For some reason it seems to have been slow to show up.

You forgot something.

Create a new user

adduser www-data video

Likely your audio will not work. Recording audio in some areas is illegal.
