Filter not deleting Events

Hi,

I am new on this forum, although was referring here for a while to look for a solution for my problem in sorting ZM issues.
There is one problem which I cant solve, had followed all the suggestion from viewtopic.php?t=26103 with no luck yet.

My setting is :

Tried OPT_FAST_DELETE with checked and unchecked, with the same result.

For some reason, my events are not deleting at all by itself.

From filter window when I select "Execute or submit" then I can click delete and all selected events can be deleted then.

Would be very grateful if someone can give some suggestion/advise to fix my issue, so my events can be deleted itself, I only want to keep events for 10 days.

Save, give it a name and set to run in background.

Usually runs after midnight. Make sure your MySQL has plenty of resources, connections and innodb_buffer_pool_size

What is the default unit of time? OP shows "-10" without units ....

Many thanks for your reply.. honestly I read this so many times and checked my filter without realising my mistake that I am actually missing this unit.. after your suggestion when I entered -10 days and saved it, system started deleting events straight away.. now all seems to be working fine.
Could you please advise if I should enable or disable OPT_FAST_DELETE.. presently it is checked.
I am running ZM on ubuntu server.

There is no default unit.

Entirely your call to have OPT_FAST_DELETE checked or not. My filter runs at night when there is little activity.

@zeeshop Glad problem is now solved, but @bbunge from a philosophical point of view, if there is no default unit, what [is/would have been] the meaning of "-10"

So I read all that. My take-away is "meaningless" ...
