Stored alarms dropping over 50% of frames when using "Analysis FPS" feature

Post by nirv199 »

Hello

I did a fresh 1.30 install on FreeBSD 11 using the pre-compiled binaries, and I can record all 11~12 FPS my HD (1920x1080) cameras send (using FFMPEG on RTSP feeds) when I do not specify any "Analisys FPS" when creating a new monitor (leaving that box empty).

When I add a value there (to ease the CPU load) such as "4" FPS, when an alarm is triggered I only get saved anything in the 3~6 FPS range, never beyond 6 FPS out of the 12 FPS sent by the camera. I always see the 12 FPS when clicking the "Monitor" to see the live feed.

As soon as I remove "4" under Analysis FPS (leaving it blank) all alarms store the 11~12 FPS i receive. No issues (just the expected higher CPU utilization).

I am almost positive I had the exact same issue back on 1.29, but never had the time to troubleshoot (I saw the same symptom but never tried to leave "Analysis FPS" blank).

Anyone else experiencing this issue?

thanks
