No alarm with rotated picture

Post by baekmark »

Hi all

I have just upgraded to latest version 1.30.0 on my Ubuntu 16.04 with the easy way. One of my camera can no longer record any event (Well I can force it)
I have six in total, and the five are working perfectly. The one that can't record events, is the only one I have changed orientation with. It's rotated Left, but if I change to normal rotation, then it works perfectly. Only thing is that the picture is rotated on the screen. Need to lay down to watch the picture :)
Strange part is, that i'm able to see the picture in correct orientation via the Monitor/view feature, but then there are not recordings.
What I do see in the log is this:

2017-02-20 13:52:38.818531 zma_m1 16062 INF In mode 3/1, warming up zma.cpp 142
2017-02-20 13:52:38.779365 zma_m1 16062 ERR Zone 1/All for monitor HDMainEntrance extends outside of image dimensions, (0,0), (1279,719), ignoring zm_zone.cpp 998
2017-02-20 13:52:37.734562 zma_m1 16062 WAR Waiting for capture daemon zm_monitor.cpp 503
2017-02-20 13:52:36.673360 zma_m1 16062 WAR Waiting for capture daemon zm_monitor.cpp 503

I have tried many different combination of orientation and resolution with no luck. Even created a new Monitor to be sure that is was not an config error, but still the same. On the Camera - Foscam FI9853EP - I can't rotate 90 degrees, only flip.
I'm using Ffmpeg and RTP/Unicast to grab the picture, as I do on four other cameras

The same was done on a CentOS server with easy instal, and there is exact the same issue.

Anyone seen this?

Appreciate any help

BR

Got it!
The zone for the camera was not correct, so I deleted the old Zone and created a new one with default setup.

Sorry that I did not catch this topic: "Testing Results - Camera Orientation and Zones "

Have a great day
