can you explain me all steps to install zoneminder with ps2 eye toy ?

i have installed but in browser i do not any imagem.
where i can see log errors ?

lsusb return device 004 sony

and this instructions do not return any error:
sudo /etc/init.d/zoneminder restart
sudo /etc/init.d/apache2 restart

After more than 15 years, no longer using ZM as surveillance system.
Now in the dark side, using a commercial system...

The first step would be to get the camera working. Once the camera is working you can start looking at zoneminder, however since zoneminder relies on the kernel to provide a driver for the camera there is no use messing with zoneminder until the camera works with for example VLC. (VLC can play video from a video device.)

You may need to set your camera settings, the default palette , etc
