First off I love zm ninja. It's a really handy app for checking on my camera feeds without having to go to my pc.
I'm currently using zm ninja without https. I was interested in setting up the facial recognition server along side my zoneminder installation. Do I need to use https to do this? I'm gonna connect remotely through a vpn so I think that should be enough security. Is this possible?
Question about zm ninja ssl certificates
Re: Question about zm ninja ssl certificates
No, you don’t need https for this.
The only time you need proper ssl certs is if you want to use push notifications with pictures.

I no longer work on zmNinja, zmeventnotification, pyzm or mlapi. I may respond on occasion based on my available time/interest.
