Does ZM ninja communicate via an encrypted tunnel to ZM?

I recently had a off-the-shelf security system be infected by some malicious logic that apparently was used to facilitate a denial of service attack. Based on the traffic, it exploited the nonsecure remote connection use by a phone app to exchange information with the network video recorder. I don't want to have the same problem again with ZMNinja.

zmNinja uses whichever network configuration you use to access ZoneMinder on a browser. In other words:

1. If you use SSL, zmNinja will access ZoneMinder via SSL
2. If you use a VPN, you can install a VPN on the phone and then access zmNinja
3.zmNinja does not use any additional ports/protocols - it only uses the same ports/protocols your ZoneMinder portal is configured for
