zmNinja on ubuntu 14 problems with login ...

Hi I am trying this from a Mint 17.3 which is ubuntu 14.04
When I enter the serer and user/password I get the error authenticating.
I have no problem login in through the browser though.
The zoneminder is 1.29.
Any Idea how I would trace this?

Go to Developer settings, enable Debug logs,
then try to login and see the logs
