IPCC camera shows stills instead of stream

Post by Danzi »

Hello-

Recently set up 4 cameras in ZM, my first attempt. Three D-link cameras show full stream video when monitored. The 4th camera only shows still shots.

The 4th camera, sold as DBPOWER c300e h264 , instruction sheet says IPCC, mobile app says it is an IPCC IPCC 015298 sscly.

Neither comes up on an online search, but I did find an IPCC setting to use:

rtsp://<IP>:554/12 which does give me the stills (it actually looks like the first few seconds streams, then goes to a still).

In VLC player I get the full stream.

IN ZM it also does not like to stay connected, in VLC player it is very stable.

Any help is appreciated

Thanks Dan

Hello,

Can you send me a screenshot of your setup?

I have the same camera and big problems to get a stream. I only get the "Broken"Icon...

Im interestet in your zoneminderversion, and your options at "Add a new monitor" by the tabs "General" and "Source"

thank you

This doesn't work for me. Can see camera on VLC but have had no luck via zoneminder - tried everything I can think of.

Solved my problem - seems its that common issue of making sure PATH_ZMS is set to /zm/cgi-bin/nph-zms
Apologies for not fully reading the installation guide - damn nubies :-)
