will camera motion detection be supported?

Post by rmasonjr »

Specifically, will the onvif camera-based motion ever be supported?
I love the idea of offloading that processing to the individual devices instead of having zm do all the processing for all the cams.

That would require someone to volunteer their time to add support for ONVIF 2.2 Profile S.
It's one of many items on the wish list. So far, no one has stepped up to do that, but you never know.
Visit my blog for ZoneMinder related projects using the Raspberry Pi, Orange Pi, Odroid, and the ESP8266
All of these can be found at https://zoneminder.blogspot.com/

Up !
The issue I see here, is getting a relatively standard UI to configure the camera.
The application provided for my cams are ActiveX...
But at least in a first step get the events...

Anyway, it seems that there is already some onvif support in ZM:

ls /usr/share/perl5/ZoneMinder/Control/onvif.pm
