So i've messed with setting here and there trying to resolve this issue and it never ends up being 100%. I think the setting is just something I dont know.
I have an even for 6.5 seconds at 06:05:43 and an even for 6.5 seconds at 06:05:51, Both events involved a person walking up to my door and then walking away. Now by the math this means the person stood at my door for a few seconds not moving. I would like these events to be 1 event instead of two.
What setting should I be changing to try and obtain this goal? I know it will never be perfect, But i'm looking to close the gap a little.

"Post Event Image Count" in the buffers tab. Figure out how many seconds of video you want once motion detection no longer thinks there's motion, multiply that by the frames per second the camera is set to and you'll have your number.

That is what I was thinking... Just was not complete sure that was correct spot.
