Just noticed iconnor PPA has new versions for Trusty and Vivid as of 30SEP15. Reports out as 1.28.2. Have not discovered any new features...yet.

I believe iconnor got that out by mistake and is having a hard time removing it. I no longer work on zmNinja, zmeventnotification, pyzm or mlapi. I may respond on occasion based on my available time/interest.

My system works fine but I notice I am also on 1.28.2?
Do I need to do anything? will it update when I do a apt-get update?

My system went down with that change. I currently have no way forward (i believe) as my cameras get the smudge under ffmpeg (i.e., bottom half of video is blurred out) and although previously working under vlclib now get the VLC segment fault (see http://www.zoneminder.com/forums/viewto ... 32&t=23556. Have tried all of 14.04 and forward versions of ubuntu.
