Can't connect to ACTi ACM-1231 anymore

Hi, I've been having corruption issues with 1.26, so I've decided to try 1.28. I did a clean install of 1.28.1, and now I'm unable to get a functional monitor setup for my ACTi ACM-1231.
My settings:
Source type: ffmpeg
Source Path: admin:PASSWORD@192.168.0.11:7070
Remote Method: tried RTP/RTSP and RTP/RTSP/HTTP
Also tried:
Source type: remote
Remote Protocol: HTTP
Remote Method: Simple
Remote Host Name: admin:PASSWORD@192.168.0.11
Remote Host Port: 80
Remote Host Path: /cgi-bin/cmd/encoder?GET_STREAM
I can confirm that VLC is able to access the stream at network path:
http://admin:PASSWORD@192.168.0.11/cgi- ... GET_STREAM
In my logs, the most common error appears to be zmc_m1 reporting ERR: "Unable to open input 192.168.0.11:7070 due to: Success"
The camera shows only the blue screen.
Any suggestions of how I can better diagnose the issue?
