How to upgrade from 1.26.4 to 1.26.5

Hi All,

What's new in the 1.26.5 version? its great to see Zoneminder been worked on again.

How to I upgrade from 1.26.4 to 1.26.5

Could I do the below

add-apt-repository ppa:iconnor/zoneminder
apt-get update

I originally installed against these instructions.

I did the update by performing

apt-get update
apt-get upgrade
apt-get dist-upgrade

and all is good it appears to have updated

I can confirm that the Ubuntu 12.04 ZM 1.26.4 to ZM 1.26.5 works very well!

As a safety measure I stopped ZM before running the upgrade and backed up the MySQL database. The upgrade from the PPA did in fact try to stop ZM before doing the upgrade and did start ZM when it was finished. I used the command line to do the upgrade and not Webmin.

I'll be updating the how to in the WIKI later tonight.

I guess the PPA doesn't support Ubuntu 13.10 yet? I get this after adding the PPA:

W: Failed to fetch http://ppa.launchpad.net/iconnor/zoneminder/ubuntu/dists/saucy/main/binary-i386/Packages  404  Not Found
E: Some index files failed to download. They have been ignored, or old ones used instead.

I'll continue with the manual upgrade for now ...

edit: I was able to install/upgrade from source just fine.

That is correct the PPA doesn't support 13.10. I don't think anybody has successfully got Zoneminder working on 13.10 yet.
