Ubuntu 12.04

ubuntu 12.04. Cheese works fine also had Motion working ok.. When I click "Monitor-1" the pop up appears, but no video, I just see this displayed "Cambozola V0.935-0002 (c) Andy Wilcock, 2001-2013"

From the "log" option:

I've spent hours working on this, not sure what I missed. Thanks in advance for any help or insight.
