I use zoneminder (virtual appliance) with axis cam (15).
I see that zoneminder store and archive the single frame in jpg format.
The size used is too big, I have tried the event filters, but the sequence are lost from web interface.

Is it possible store or archive the events recorder in movie format (avi, mp4, ecc,ecc) without lost the web management ?
Exist a specific configuration or plugin ?

I have experience in many program languages, the last are php, javascript, C, lua...

I would use zoneminder for the video secutiry of 15 internal cam axis of site office of Rome.
