Is ZoneMinder still under active development?

As per the title, I was wondering if ZoneMinder is still under active development. The reason I ask is that I think I've found a bug and was going to report it but it is arguably not worth it if there's noone around to read about it (and roll out an eventual fix). I haven't seen Phil around for ages and this is where I'd usually report them for him to pick up!

Cheers,

Mathew

That's great; thanks.

Is that where we should report bugs (and not here/elsewhere)?

That is a very good point.

I may have some bug fixes that I would like to present - but I don't know where and how.

Sadly, I think the lack of an authoritative response to this query probably answers the question....

You can do git push into mastertheknife's repo perhaps?

Thanks Vraa, unfortunately I'm only able to spot the bugs and not provide the fixes! ;-)

Perhaps it's a case of keeping an eye out for anyone that forks the project, particularly as there seem to be a couple of people now who are publishing their own modifications.

I have found a couple of git "forks" of Zoneminder in these forums by chance, it seems that finding all the git forks out there is like finding needles in a haystack.

Is there an all-in-one list of all the git "forks" of Zoneminder out there, so I can pick and choose which one to use?

I was wondering this too. The last post in the Future Development thread is from 2009 and the last release available is from August 2011. I would hope that ZM is still undergoing development as I think it is a great piece of work and nice alternative to other options out there. I would actually like to see ZM and my other favorite project (MythTV) join forces and integrate. ZM would be an awesome addition to MythTV and could benefit eachother.
