Questions, Concerns, and Documentation?

I've got some questions regarding the upgrade process from 1.24.x:

• - Has anyone documented the upgrade process from 1.24.x to 1.25.0?
  - Is there a downside to upgrading?
  - Will 1.24.2 upgrade to 1.25.0 cleanly?
  - Will 1.25.0 retain the settings and data from 1.24.x?
  - Are the hardware requirements different?

It looks as though the upgrade has no big changes, but it's hard to tell without something that states that. The documentation link on the download page goes to the same info for 1.24.x and thus is a bit confusing.

On a side note, the wiki still states that it is not current from the 1.23 to 1.24 update from 2 1/2 years ago =)

I installed the upgrade via SUSE RPM (YAST). You just have to run zm_database_init to upgrade the database once the update completes, since there are extra log tables that need to be inserted. The only issue I came across that drove me batty was that my DB user account had a special character (&) in the password, and the upgrade would putz out. After I took that out, total upgrade was about 3 minutes. Very simple.
