Monitoring Cams on Other ZM Machines

Post by SuperSpy »

Here at work, I've got two buildings with separate zm machines running their respective cams in each building. I would like to set them up so that each machine has a lower frame rate monitor to the other building's cameras, in the event that one machine doesn't survive an incident. The machines are running a combination or IP and UVC cameras, so just addressing the cameras directly is out of the question.

I could have sworn I had read somewhere there was a way to access another zm machine's cameras as a source, but now I can't find any reference to it. Is it possible? Currently one machine is running 1.25.0 and the other is 1.24.2, but I plan on updating the 1.24 machine soon.

Thanks for that, and sorry about the late reply, but any way to get that to work over an SSL connection?
