Can't edit, delete or select monitor source

Post by naoliv »

Hi!

I have installed Debian's zoneminder (version is 1.24.2) and while it seems to be working (I can access zoneminder through http: //127.0.0.1/zm/) I am seeing some problems:

Clicking in "Add New Monitor" I am able to use only the "General" tab. All other tabs are disabled (clicking on them and nothing happens). Tried on Chrome and Opera. Real problem in zoneminder or something related with javascript, supported browsers, etc?

Another thing: after creating a monitor (just to test, since I can't configure it because only "General" is available), I am also unable to edit nor delete it.
By clicking on "Mark" and selecting the monitor, both the Edit and Delete buttons are disabled.
Again, something wrong with zoneminder or something related with javascript/browsers?

Installed from synaptic, install worked fine, however I had to move the zm folder to /var/www

Hi I'm new on zm

I'm using Mepis 11 also and have the same problems than sealevelpete and the same logs.

02/05/13 11:24:19.499919 zmwatch[3050].ERR [Can't get shared memory id '7a6d0002', 2: No such file or directory]

Any idea?

I have a Trendnet TV-IP551WI camera.
When I start zm I get this (not related?)

[root@mepis1 Jess]# /etc/init.d/zoneminder restart
Stopping ZoneMinder: sudo: unable to resolve host mepis1
sudo: unable to resolve host mepis1
sudo: unable to resolve host mepis1
success

Hello,

I had the same issue.
My Solution was in the Apache Sites available. There was an ispconfig file 000-blablabla.
I delete this and its Running now

-> Linux version 3.2.0-40-generic-pae
-> ZoneMinder v1.25.0
-> Hootoo IP Cam
-> Ps2 EyeToy Camera
