Zoneminder 1.24X motion images delay

I am using zoneminder 1.24x and have set the zones to record the whole area. The system ran all day and I know that several cars and people have passed by this camera but only 2 motion detections were recorded. I looked at the log files and did not see anything abnormal. It seems as though is taking a long time for Zoneminder after it catches something to display it in the console. How can one speed up the process?

Try adjusting your zones sensibility.

thanks for the reply, I have it on high and it is now picking up images but I find that rather odd that I have to take to high for it to be able to record

Completely depends on cameras sensor, lens, distance to movement, and light. Might want to experiment with alarmed pixels rather then blobs for alarm check method.
