Cant run in Video for Linux 1

Post by btrotter »

I just recently did a complete overhaul on my CCTV system. I replaced Ubuntu with CentOS server and added a new DVR capture card. I replaced two 4-port Conexant BT878 cards with an 8-port Techwell 6805 card.

Now that I have done that, I can not run any of the cameras in Video for Linux 1 mode. I have to use Video for Linux 2.
When running in VFL2, my image has vertical lines in it (possibly from cheap cameras?), so I would like to go back to VFL1.
I am running the cameras with NTSC / RGB24. I have tried resolutions of 320x240 and 640x480. Same problem each time.

These are the error messages I get when I try to run in VFL1 mode. Any ideas?
