I cant seem to find any tutorials on how to do this.
I currently have a 4 camera setup on the "pico" capture card.
i managed to monitor them with 2 fps on 640x480, the record feature only makes jpg files, how to i convert my camera input to any video format ?

You can record only in JPG format. You can convert it to AVI with ffmpeg later, if you want.
