Speed improvement with kernel 2.6.31

Does anybody have the newest kernel 2.6.31 on their box?
I just updated one of my zm boxes from thge prevously 2.6.30 kernel and I'm noticing improved performance.

This is a quad-core Arch system with 10 ip cams doing continously recording, it had a average load of 2 and now it stays at 0.5 on average.

I don't remember doing anything else recently to this box, just the kernel upgrade.

Anyone else?

perhaps your distro added the mmx jpeg libs also or lib jpeg now suports it intresting will try later with some vms

I already had them installed, so its something else.
