missing /etc/zm/apache.conf

Post by gian »

I had a division by zero error on my 1.24.2 console, and it is reported to be related to mixed versions, so I deleted all ZM folders and reinstalled from source from scratch.

Now I have apache.conf missing from /etc/zm, and cannot symlink it to zoneminder.conf.

What am I doing wrong?

thanks for your time,
-Gian

Apache config files are provided by the packagers and are not in the source since they are very specific to a distros installation. If you configured your ZM installation to mimic the package, you could use the config file from the package otherwise you need to manually configure Apache your self.

I know you'll laugh at me, but I found one apache.conf while googling for zoneminder, and I did a blind cut&paste job. It just works. Brrr!!!
