ZM is slow viewing events

hello there,

I have now v.1.24.1 running, and it seems slower than older v1.23 when browsing events.

I recall I read that 1.24 did not need to modify memory buffers settings, but maybe I'm wrong.

The load is low, about 1%.

also: next page button is vanished, as the global delete check.

If you're in firefox, try zooming the page out, I've had various buttons slightly off-screen in the past.
