CHECK_FOR_UPDATES not working?

CHECK_FOR_UPDATES not working?

hi there,

how is this supposed to work?

I run v.1.24.1, and v.1.24.2 is out.
No warning to upgrade, though.

Not a big issue, but I'm puzzled.
