http and TCP event notification

Post by breizhbug »

Hello,
As you probably know, Some Axis camera manage HTTP or TCP event notification.
Is it possible with ZM to keep this HTTP or TCP event notification in order to make records for example.
If yes, where could I find operating mode.

Regards

Currently this is not possible. The lag between the event and the notification is the main problem. If camera's support digital outputs that could trigger the ZM machine then it would function better.

Why ? Other software use these notification to start recording or else. What is the max lag time between event and notification ?

Otherwise, do you mean relay output as we have on Axis cameras ?
We can do events management with axis cameras (send http/tcp notification or activate output port). But, how could it be possible to get this output port status ?
I suppose throught X10 module. Is it Ok.
