A Duel Monitor Setup Problem

Hi, here's the setup

Server /POE switch etc. in the basement with 15"monitor for servicing
Monitor display 24" on wall 1st floor my work area in montage view, just to glance now and then on activity

How can I feed the first floor monitor ?
Granted it is not like I have duel screens on my desk which would be easy.

I think I found a solution, a vga splitter in the basement feeding the monitor on the first floor in montage view. O just add a graphics card if monitors have different resolutions.
