I have been tasked with upgrading our camera OS, which is still running on XP.
I am looking at deploying ZoneMinder on a Linux Distro and was hoping someone know whether this setup works/doesn't work.
We are using analog cameras plugging into 2 X Vguard 7146 Serial Device 20061219.
What I can glean from windows device manager is : PCI\VEN_1131&DEV_7146
From a bit of googling for the software developers, I have found what used to be their support page at http://www.vguard.tw/support.html, but it would seem someone re purposed their domain/server for a dance academy
Also searching for the VEN/DEV combination results in a plethora of results to download the drivers for windows, however nothing relating to Vguard.
I would prefer not shutting down the server until I am sure I have found a solution.
