Sannce 4channel POE 720P Cameras; Need Help

Post by chandoo »

Hi
I have Sannce 4ch POE 720p cameras, recently NVR died partially (recording pcb in the NVR died, Networking part is working good)
I can access the cameras.
So I had decided to setup Zoneminder in accessing them and recording the cameras.
I have quad core server with 16GB ram, I installed Fedora23 and did complete ZM setup.
I can access the cameras in my desktop with VLC (RTSP) .
rtsp://<ip Address>:554 is what works in the vlc player.

I tried to setup monitor in ZM and nothing works, i tried http and rtsp.

below link is what i have.
https://www.amazon.com/SANNCE-Security- ... h+poe+720p

I need help in making cameras work in ZM.
I know the ip's ports of the cameras

any help is appreciated. let me know what kind of logs I that are needed for troubleshooting.

thanks

I think I might have the same kit, try source path: rtsp://192.168.1.4/av0_0?tcp

Not sure if you need the ?tcp, I'm having issues with corrupt frames and I read here (http://onlinetechadvice.blogspot.com/20 ... rames.html) that adding that might help. Too soon to say though.

I found the rtsp url a year or so ago, I think I ran a nmap script to query rtsp cameras for urls.

(I think this is it! If that source path doesn't work, try this https://nmap.org/nsedoc/scripts/rtsp-url-brute.html)
